About Project

Visegrad Digital Parliamentary Library website was launched in 2012 as a result of the cooperation of the parliamentary libraries of the Visegrad Group countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia). The section dedicated to the Austrian parliamentary topics has been added to the website due to its direct involvement in the Central European historical context. The sign “+” signifies the possibility of data extension.

The aim of the website is to enable the access to important parliamentary documents of V4 countries and Austria from a unique site. Furthermore, it contains the outline of the history of parliamentarism in individual countries, their current structure and main attributes.

The newly added functions and presentations cover:

A new specialized section has been added, offering the database of selected works of parliamentary research centres with the option of metadata search, serving the internal purposes of research specialists in the national parliaments.
